1st Year Medical Physics Resident
Arely Clavel received her undergraduate degrees from Stony Brook University, and her graduate degree from Columbia University’s CAMPEP-accredited medical physics program. During her graduate career, Arely volunteered at Mount Sinai Hospital and wrote reference materials for incoming medical residents regarding diagnostic imaging modalities and respective radiation safety protocols. Her time at Sinai truly validated her growing passion for the field and laid a foundation for her to build skills.
Arely has aspirations to contribute to the medical physics field by improving diagnostic image quality, testing protocols, and patient safety. She is very honored and excited to have joined Upstate Medical Physics as a Diagnostic Medical Physics Resident in June of 2016.
Arely is originally from Long Island, NY and now lives in Rochester, New York.
