Dustin A. Gress, MS
Licensed Medical Physicist
Biography
Dustin completed his bachelor’s and master’s degrees
in Nuclear Engineering and Radiological Sciences at the University
of Michigan. His master’s thesis focused on radiation shielding
in diagnostic imaging facilities, where he has obtained extensive
experience with UMP over the last several years. Dustin has performed
many shielding designs for radiographic and interventional suites,
CT suites, high volume PET facilities, and I-131 therapy rooms.
Dustin obtained his FDA approval under MQSA regulations in January,
2006, and has been performing annual mammography physics surveys
and equipment evaluations ever since. He also has extensive experience
with all of the currently approved full-field digital mammography
systems (Hologic, GE, Fuji, Siemens).
Dustin also regularly performs physics surveys on radiographic,
fluoroscopic, and CT systems, and is training to perform
annual MRI physics surveys. He is in the process of
taking his ABR certification exams.
Dustin is originally from Farmington Hills, Michigan.
