Mark (Ye) Wu
Licensed Medical Physicist
Biography
After receiving his B. S. Degree in Physics, Mark
started his professional career working as an
electrical engineer at an electric power construction
company. He also spent a number of years working
in computer engineering. Mark then attended graduate
school and received his PhD degree in Medical
Physics. His research during graduate studies
focused on development of new x-ray high-resolution
digital imaging systems for neuron-interventional
procedures, and image quality evaluation.
Mark Joined Upstate Medical Physics in 2005.
His specialties include evaluation of Mammography,
CT, MRI, Radiography, Fluoroscopy, and calculations
for radiation safety and patient dosimetry.
Mark’s goal is to help clients achieve
the best performance from their imaging equipment.
