John Cooper

John received a Bachelor of Science in Physics from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Salem College, and a Master of Science in Medical Physics from East Carolina University. Before pursuing his graduate degree, John worked as a service technician and a quality assurance test technician. During his graduate studies John worked as a research assistant studying the diagnostic and therapeutic properties of iron oxide nanoparticles in vitro using breast cancer cells. He joined Upstate Medical Physics as a Diagnostic Medical Physics Resident in June of 2022.
